Job Seeker Registration

Once you register, you can begin your job search immediately.

Follow these 2 simple steps to register:

1. Go to http://chemistryjobs.acs.org/jobseekers and login. If you are a new user, you will need to create a Job Seeker account.

2. Once you are logged in, look for the C to register for the onsite portion of the Career Fair and V to register for the virtual portion of the Career Fair. You can register for either one or both. Click on the "click here" link and you'll automatically be registered for the event. Please keep in mind, to gain entry into the onsite career fair in Denver, you need to be an ACS member and be registered for the ACS National Meeting.

We strongly advise you to register as early as possible to maximize your chances of securing interviews. Once you have created an account and posted your resume, you can immediately begin searching for jobs by specialization, work function, employer, etc. A special designation will indicate which employers are participating in the ACS Career Fair: onsite employers in Denver will have an orange C, and employers exhibiting in the virtual environment will have an orange V. Check the ACS Careers Jobs Database regularly to review open positions.

For Onsite Participants
Job seekers who sign up by August 12, 2011, will receive a confirmation packet in the mail containing their ACS Career Fair ID card prior to the National Meeting. If you register after August 12, you can pick up your confirmation packet at the Career Fair Information Booth in Hall B of the Colorado Convention Center.

You must be an ACS member and register for the ACS National Meeting to participate in the onsite Career Fair; however, there is no additional charge for attending the ACS Career Fair. National Meeting registration is free for unemployed members (find out more at www.acs.org/unemployed.)
